Why start your own business in Canowindra? I saw a need for locally based specialty workshops for European and Prestige vehicles because the numbers have increased on the roads.
What made you get into mechanics? I started with a VW Kombi during my HSC and was working in a wrecking yard to get $$ and parts and then it evolved from there.
How did you come up with the name for Autoteknick Industries? Automotive, technology & me.
Proudest achievement? My wife Linda and our son Ollie.
How do you know what to do as part of a service? Manufacturers specify exactly what is in each service and I get this through subscription services. Experience is key though. I do a full inspection of every vehicle that comes through the door to and give a report on the vehicle.
