Nick Carne specialised in BMW’s for the majority of his career, quickly graduating to Senior Technician at dealerships including Alto BMW Artarmon and Col Crawford BMW. He’s diagnostic skills were highly valued and he was selected as one of few technicians to undertake BMW’s own diagnostic training as well as specific training in a range of models.
He started his automotive career in independent workshops such as Toptune Automotive and North Sydney Automotive. These workshops serviced all makes and models, predominantly European and Prestige vehicles.

Nick’s diagnostic skills, accuracy in parts specification and ability to liaise with customers saw him advanced to 2nd in charge of the Toptune workshop at Mosman.
From the start Nick showed he had both passion and talent in the automotive arena, and gained merit during his apprenticeship. Awarded “Highest Pass 3 Years of Light Vehicles Mechanics Trade Course” at his graduation as an apprentice, this meant he topped his class each and every year of his training.
